Pomegranate & Sesanquas, 8x8 oil on board (unframed)

"Pomegranate & Sesanquas" was painted from a live set-up under my lamp. I love pomegranates, they are so "painterly" and Sesanquas are the first Camellias to bloom in the yard. So, the fruit was bought in the store, the flowers picked from the bush and both "posed" for my brush. Loved every stroke.
